Do you have experience with Linux, virtualisation and network technologies? Above average interest in technology? As a Service Account Manager at Nevion you will be part of a team that sets the standard and direction for broadcasting worldwide.

About the role

Nevion’s technology manages and transports video, audio and data from the camera to the home; providing an integrated hardware, software and services offering to give unmatched expertise as the leading provider of media transport solutions.

Serving broadcasters, telecom service providers and government agencies worldwide, Nevion provides SDN orchestration solutions (VideoIPath) for video, audio and data transport over IP networks, but also legacy optical Fiber and SDI or SDH topologies. Nevion’s software defined media nodes (Virtuoso FA and MI) provide IP edge adaptation to position and transform media flows onto IP networks using redundant linear and compression techniques for low latency, real-time media delivery.

Together with Nevion’s products are services for implementation and customer support. In this segment, you will be part in a group of highly skilled service account managers who form an integral part of our delivery. You will help deliver the bery best service to our customers. Job duties

As a part of an international operations team within Nevion you will be granted responsibility for some of our key service accounts.

You will be the first point of contact for some of our key service accounts, developing and maintaining a strategically important relationship while you produce rapports and drive our solutions.
Providing 2nd line technical support to our customers in IP networking and media transport systems with a strong IT and broadcast working knowledge.
Working in close contact with the Nevion Development and Product Management teams to optimize customer solutions
Product and system testing pre- and post sale
Working with a whole range of broadcasting and networking technologies: (ST2022, ST2110, NMOS,AES67), switch (Cisco, Arista and Mellanox/Nvidia switches), Linux (Red Hat, CentOS) and virtualization/container technologies (Hypervisors, VMware, Docker).

We are looking for

A relevant technical background through education and/or studies. It is especially interesting if you have any previous knowledge of broadcasting
Experience with troubleshooting in a Linux environment
Experience with troubleshooting and configuration of network, switches (Cisco, Arista and Mellanox/Nvidia)
Experience with virtualization/containerization technologies (Hypervisors, VMware, Docker)
Some experience in administrating a database
