Do you have an education in engineering or are about to graduate this summer? Would you like to be part of a young team with ample opportunity to influence your own role? As a maintenance analyst at Golar you will get the chance to travel and support our teams from Oslo to West Africa.

About the role

As a Maintenance Analyst at Golar, you will be part of our growing FLNG operations department consisting of 40 colleagues. We are currently expanding our technical support team and it is here you will get the chance to make your mark. The team provides engineering and system support to our operating assets across the globe. Your role will focus on the use and support of our Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS), analyzing how it is used and making continuous improvements through feedback.

As a graduate at Golar you will take part of several prestigious projects and be given responsibility quickly. To succeed in this role you will need to be self-driven and have a keen eye for details. Your team is also recently formed and will require a degree of adaptability and flexibility as both you and your team will be making continous changes where necessary.

So where is the adventure? The key as a maintenance analyst is to understand your users. In this capacity you will be travelling to locations such as West Africa (Mauritania) to both teach and learn from our end users. Through these projects you will gain key first-hand experience in how the end user uses the systems and from there you will be an integral part in advancing the CMMS solutions.

Job duties

  • Support operational teams in maintenance and inventory-related tasks/projects
  • Collect, analyse and maintain data quality within Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS) and BI systems
  • Act as a lead in projects within area of expertise
  • Monitor and ensure system compliance with different regulations
  • Focus on optimization of business processes and cost efficiency

We are looking for

  • Newly educated or graduating in 2023 in a relevant technical discipline, preferably engineering and RAMS. However other disciplines like logistics, economics and analysis will be evaluated.
  • Relevant experience may substitute for an academic background, but experience is NOT required. Relevant experiences wary from technical management and/or operations of refineries, liquefaction plants or FPSOs (Floating Production Storage and Offloading) and FSO (Floating Storage and Offloading)
  • Strong IT skills, specifically BI systems
  • Fluency in English
