We are looking for a back-end developer to Questback

On behalf of our client, Questback, Academic Work is looking for a back-end developer. It doesn’t matter if you are newly graduated or if you have experience – the most important thing for us is to find the right person. At Questback you will be a part of an open, including and informal environment, surrounded by colleagues that wants to help you succeed. You will have a key role in the product engineering team with assignments consisting of new development, new functionality, security and performance issues. You will be positioned in Oslo, Norway.

During your first time in Qustback, you will have your own mentor and time will be dedicated for you to learn the different programs, tools and the product you will help develop. You will get to work with modern technologies in a company that focuses on processes and continuously integration. You will work with a true SaaS solution, catering for thousands of customers and users around the world. You will be given the opportunity to work with all aspects of Questback’s solution, and need to be prepared for that.

You will among others be working with the following:

• Back-end development with Microsoft technologies as ASP.NET, the latest .NET Frameworks, C# and Visual Studio
  
• Client slide web technologies like HTML5, JavaScript and related frameworks like Knockout, AngularJS
  
• Relational databases
  
• Participate in agile projects
  
• Have a key role in different releases and contribute with bug fixing
  

We are looking for you who is skilled, dedicated and wanting to be part of a highly professional team. You take initiative and responsibility in tasks and also share your knowledge and skills with others.

We are looking for you that have:

• Relevant project experience
  
• Skills in Microsoft technologies as ASP.NET, the latest .NET Frameworks, C# and Visual Studio, will be a big advantage. We would like to emphasize that experience with other programming languages might compensate for lack of experience with the languages mentioned above
  
• Experience with HTML5, JavaScript and related frameworks like Knockout, AngularJS will be an advantage
  
• Education within IT. Candidates without a degree but with a proven track record would also be taken into consideration
  
• Fluent in English. Knowledge and/or fluency in Norwegian will be a great advantage
  

The right candidate does not only a have keen eye for design and user-friendly interfaces, but also pays close attention to performance and security aspects in development work. We appreciate previous working experience, professional and systematic approach in development work, and willingness to continuously learn more.
